Respect is needed for love to exist. That is why it’s very important to have respect in any relationship that you want to nurture for the rest of your life. Anything genuinely more sacred than love is respect. And there is a gap between respect and love; it cannot overlap the other. If there would be chances of love frizzling out due to situations in life, but if you do have a bare minimum respect for the person—there is always a possibility of love to blossom because in that gap between respect and love lies the possibility of having the relationship in quantinum—progressing towards better understanding of one another, that’s where there is a plethora of opportunities for both of them, or whoever we wish to have connection with.
